Currently a 100 kg potato bag will cost Rs.320-340 in Tarakeshwer, Hooghly of West Bengal. This is the ex-cold storage price. But Potato-Tarakeshwer Futures is getting traded at Rs.408 for 15th April expiry. The 15th May Potato-Tarakeshwer Futures is trading at Rs. 471. So the potato farmers can not expect that much of profit after taking out the potato bags from Cold Storage and sell in retail/wholesale market.

Nifty Closed at 5736 due to profit booking at last hour
Nity closed steadily but below than the 5750 mark due to late profit booking by the traders and Investors. Nifty closed at 5736 mark 50 points above from previous close and all sectoral indices shown good gains including Auto, Banks, FMCG, IT and Metals. Realty stocks are also on upward move where Parsanath Developers and DB Realty showed good gains. Auto stocks were also the top performers today.
Market is steady at 5760
Indian Market is showing stedy upmove leaded by Autos and realty stocks. Also the ADAG pack is looking good. Banks and metals are also performing well. Indices are not affected by the European opening where Europe is trading flat.Market has moved beyod 200 Days Moving Average(DMA) and looks good.

Though not admired but loved Ponting said that playing under intense pressure and adverse circumstances Australia has won hundreds of One day cricket matches and Test cricket under his captaincy. Michael Clarke will take charge of the post of captain from wednesday.

Indian market holding 5700 mark but may see some profit booking today.Look for European markets opening. Market may close higher than 5700 mark.
